This is one of the many lakes around here. For some reason, wich I donīt know, it is named "Crow Lake". I have posted photos from this lake before. I hope you like this one.

It is nice to go back to a favourite place Susanne!..I do the same..there is always something different each time we visit!

Such a lovely scene here..good angle too with the brook/stream as a lead in to the lake

It's not clear to me whether this very fine image is taken in June of this year or June of last year. Think the latter is more probable because June of this year is only two days old.
If I'm right, hope that June of this wear will be that good as depicted in your image, Susanne.

You are right Cornelius, it was taken in June last year. I too hope June this year will be just as beautiful though it is not looking that way right now. It is cold, windy and rainy. Hoping for the better soon!

It is a 'crackpot' then! Perhaps in a similar fashion as the link from OB's Swaledale Falls indicates, "Crackpot can be found in Swaledale to the east of Gunnerside and has two parts to its name, both of which occur in a number of other Northern place names. In 1298 it was called Crakepot and derives from the Old English 'Kraka', a crow and the Viking word 'Pot'. A 'pot' was usually a cavity or deep hole, often in the bed of a river..."
