I spotted this lonely Dahlia in an old deserted garden. She was standing there surrounded by bushes and high grasses. She had managed to survive somehow and now she was shining like a little sun among all the weeds. I just had to take her picture. Hope you enjoy. Have a very nice weekend.

PS I will be away for a couple of days more because there is still a lot I have to do. I have had a look at your uploads but I have not commented. I will try to catch up when I come back.

All comments are most welcome. I thank you in advance for taking the time. Always greatly appreciated!

A beautiful photo and I like the composition and the arrangement with the background/foreground; well done my Friend. I also feel the green tones have a soothing effect in conjunction with the flower.

She is standing proud, and your capture is beautiful. You nailed the color, the contrasts of yellow, and green is so soothing. Will see you when you get back, take care my friend. Tigs♥ =^..^=

Such a pretty yellow one. I don't see too many in yellow. Seems to be minding her own business and doing her thing.
