It was little more than a curiosity now, the dreadful secret behind it's ancient text lost along with the language of those who drafted it. The worlds it had consumed, the civilisations it had destroyed, the countless millions who had fallen to it's irresistible forces... all forgotten. It sat in it's glass case at the Central Museum and gathered dust.

I really like this image - very dark, like it's title. It is obvious from looking at it that you have expended a lot of energy on it.

Maybe you should create a light core which balances out the dark core. Anyway this picture is awesome well done.
