One of the roads into Armadale lined by Aspens (I think). I was going through my old files and found this one, decided it was worth cleaning up a bit in PS.

Fantastic view... I like the contrasting colors, the clouds which add a great dynamics and the overall composition. Yes Sam, it was worth cleaning up and sharing it with us...

You did a good job with it :-) The fence and the buildings could detract from it but somehow the colours and forms of the trees (and the clouds) are just too strong to allow such distractions. Very nice :-)

Wow Sam..you did real good in my book on this one! I love the way the colors go from brown in the foreground to green to the yellows to the greenish-blues, to the blue of the mountains and the very bold blue of the sky! I like the trees in the front being silhoutted. They add depth to the image without detracting from the beauty of the Aspens at all. The clouds co-operated with you on that day too..just perfect. Thanks :~)

Very nice captured, the framing, the balance of colors and contrast are well done. The sky seems moving to be on the top on the landscape full of trees, I see a kind on trigometry tool, and the way the trees are stand and the sky goes againts them.
interesting

Goodness that's a busy photo with many different directional lines, colors, and views. I can wander all through this image and find something interesting in each area. I don't know what you had to do, but the color, light, and long range clarity are all good. I can't help but wonder how many years it will take before those hills in the back will not be visable from this same spot again?

I would defintely say, that this one cleaned up rather nicely.

Ok, first ... comment, then, add to favs ... almost forgot the drill there, as it has been a while since I've actually gone looking for some great new stuff. Annnnd ... here it is.

Quite a beautiful image. Colours are superb, really likin' the differentiated tree species ... unique, in of themselves to be neighbours, I suspect. But, I truly think that between the sky and the foreground of the grasses, these are the outstanding elements for me. Wonderful contrast in shapes, colours and textures. Great image.

And great clarity and detail. Really nice work. Curious as to the timeline involved here, as you mention that you 'found' this one. Ahh, no matter, as this is as accomplished as it gets.

Right, now to save it ...
