I have been a huge fan of Frank Lloyd Wright's architecture for many years so it was a major event for me when I visited the Guggenheim in NY. Photography above the administration levels was not allowed but I got a few that I was happy with including this one taken in the gift shop, looking up at the small skylight and galleries which reflect the larger main gallery adjoining it. I have tried to remove any elements, such as noise and some minor details (a vent and a black shape which might have been someones head) so that the image is focused on pure geometry. I am still unsure if it is too dark or if I should have tweaked the contrast a bit more. I'd appreciate it if people would let me know which they prefer of the two shots taken from this area.

The curves on this one have a more organic feel to them and the 'shot looking up' impact is less giving it a more abstract appeal that makes one stop and pause for a moment. A slight rotation, levelling out the main structure, would enhance this. I like the slightly soft creamy effect of the colour and contrast on both images.

The reason why the sunsets in the evening is because it wants to see the sunrise in the morning. I rise in the morning because I want to see them both. RvdB
