This is where life of a dairy cow begins. It is what they call a calf barn. Calves are raised here until they are old enough to put with the older cows to get them ready for producing milk. The hay field in the distance is also part of their farm.
Taken in South Alabama at Hind's Dairy Farm ( my sister-in-law's place.)

Have the calves mooooooove over and make room for Owd Timer Opie. I really like how you have started this new series. I feel like a friendly guide is about to show me around this wonderful countryside. Love the editing. Colors are really vivid.

An absolutely superb image. I know it's in Alabama, but it still makes me wanna start singing "Oklahoma." LOL. Great work. The colors and lighting, as well as composition and focus...are top notch.

Howdy y'all
Wonderful wonderful! Gee, I wish there were some calves around. I love them so! I had one on my sister farm when I was 6. I wanted to train it for 4H and then I was informed that he wouldn't make it to be that old. My brother in law is mean! I love it when they suck on your thumb. It feels so cool! Beautiful capture Paul! Gotta fave it!

This is fabulous Paul, it caught my eye in 'featured images' because it makes me think of a label on a chocolate box or a picture in a holiday brochure. In a good way! A keeper for me too.
