I agree that a longer exposure time would make for really nice soft water but I also like the way that water looks when you use a short exposure time. When you take a short capture you can get little drops suspended in the air that add a whole new dimension to the pic. great job with this capture.

Welcome to caedes! this is quite the nice first post. My suggestion? Play. Play with your camera, if it allows you to and experiment with many different settings for the same composition. Go for a very fast shutter speed to freeze the individual droplets as mentioned above, go longer to create almost a fogging effect. You'll discover your own sytle and taste. Very nice composition and great first post!

I took another picture as well that has a faster shutter speed. I will post it some other time. When i do tell me which one you like the most. Thanks everyone for all the nice comment that were left on this picture they are much appreciated.
