The angle of the shot is very interesting. The bottom half is really dark which contrasts and divides that part of the photo with the semi-dark sky. And, the moon, being pure light draws both parts together. In this odd situation, I would say that it was better not to crop the image, because that would draw from the almost perfect half dark/half light division. I like it.
