Howdy y'all
Just had this in the VB...where to even start? Perhaps by saying this is one train ride I'd LOVE to take.
Ok, to your post - the train gives an excellent reference point to the size of the mountains. The rolling plain traveling away from us gives a superb DOF. The greens in the foreground contrast well will the stark look of the mountains in the backround. No noise in the clouds or blue sky...wow, this is one terrific post!

When the going gets weird, the weird turn pro!
two slight negatives on an otherwise good picture is that the train is cut off just at the end of it on the left which rather spoils the train and it is quite blurred at full scale. The scenery itself is well captured and the composition good with the valley leading the eye up to the mountain in the distance.

Don't take any notice of my comments. I post pictures that get a CI of 0! (Well almost)

This is really a great picture with the nice rich blue sky and the white clouds along with the mountains and the snow and the nice background with the train...a shot well worth your time. Never been to Alaska but would sure like to go sometime.There are so many pics I will have to mark this one so I can remember where it is otherwise I will forget it. Thank You
