" I' ve seen the sunrise in a thousand ways, I' ve seen the wonder of a summer storm, I' ve seen a mountain that touched the sky...... " Chris De Burgh
I got asked to post a comment on this so here goes. This was a hard shot to get...you got the foreground pretty good (nice colours) but the sky is blown (no colour at all). I know this is a difficult balancing act ( living in Scotland we got grey skys all the time) so I tend to underexpose as you can always get some detail back in editing but if it`s over expossed it`s gone. Sometimes and I think in this case would have been a better idea ( the perspective seems you were a bit high up)would have been to go lower and blank the sky completely. I still think you did a great job on this though considering. Well done and keep posting.
Its a nice rural scene, unfortunately you really can't see much of the river =( only a couple of things.. the sky - it seems too white to me which kind of distracts from the scene and the piece of grass slightly to the right pulls your eyes towards that, I would have cloned it out but thats just my opinion. apart from that a nice country view
Very nice large shot! I only wish there were a more interesting foreground, or a focal point. I find myself getting lost and not being able to keep interest. I do agree with the sky being blown out. Other than that there is potential that this site has a lot to offer, and all you need to do is keep on taking pics. The right one will be amazing! The potential is there! and this is by far not a bad picture, it just needs some TLC!
