This is a photo of a Midland Painted Turtle sunning itself on a dead tree that had fallen into a creek. It was taken at Wheatley Prov. Park (Wheatley, Ontario, Canada) Sept. 4, 2005. I used a Canon Powershot S2IS at a focal length of 72mm, 1/400s, F/4 - sometime around 3:30 PM.
