I'm not a flower person but this single black-eyed susan surrounded by tiny white flowers looked like an interesting shot. It was just after a light rain so I used a Hoya Fog filter to add a softer effect while some rain droplets can still be seen on the lower, slightly more defined leaves. It was taken at the Pinery Prov. Park (Grand Bend, Ont., Canada) on July 19, 2008. It was taken with a Canon Digital Rebel XTI with a Canon EF 28-105mm f/3.5-4.5 II USM lens at 1/30s, F/4, ISO 200 and a focal length of 45mm.

Love the softness of this capture. Love the pop of colour with the black eyed susan. Way to go.

I Like it a lot and the idea of the shot is spectacular. But, the foggyness or softness of the white flowers is too much it kinda bothers the eye. Besides that it was a pretty good shot.
