This is a pic of two canoers (unknown) paddling on Algonquin Park's Whitefish Lake, Sept 20, 2007. It was taken with a Canon Digital Rebel XTI using a Tamron 70-300mm f/4-5.6 Di LD Macro 1:2 AF lens. It was shot at 1/400s, F/9, ISO 100 and a focal length of 77mm.

Superb capture Shawn. Love the colours and scenery, sure looks like a great lake to canoe on. Never have been to Algonquin Park, sure looks fabulous. Outstanding posting.

Even though I think the composition of this pic is interesting, I think that using some software in a post processing regieme such as the ones that are listed HERE would help to make this "pop". It's like having your own darkroom!

We don’t make art to show someone what something looks like. All this requires is eyes (or a lens). Art is supposed to have meaning, emotion, power, or magic. Alan & Mario "FourThirds"

I love that the canoe is where it is, it shows perspective and how big the lake, and the mountains are
