I took this pic Sept 21, 2007 while kayaking on Algonquin Park's Rock Lake. The fall colors were really starting to show well at that point. It's a smaller pic since it was taken with a 2 mp Canon Digital Elph S330 using a WP-DC500 waterproof case. It was shot at 1/200s, F/8 and a focal length of 5mm.

WOW, the change of the trees is GORGEOUS Shawn, even if it's last years. I love fall and this scene is so serene. Fabulous colours, clarity and composition. Love Fall but not what comes after it, lol, we get too much white shit.

I know what you mean. We used to get snow all winter long down here but over the last 10+ years we've had mild winters. Nobody owns a snowmobile around here anymore unless they use it on vacations in the north. I still do like a little snow on occasion now and then. Thanx 4 the comment. I appreciate it.

Beautiful. I love hiking in the fall and this looks like a great place to hike. Nice job.

The first thing that caught my eye on this picture was the beautiful red tree, but the second thing was not the foliage on the hill beyond, but the cross-hatched ripples in the water. I hope, on future kayaking trips, that you explore the ripple effects (and the reflections therein) more. The overall scene comes out just a bit dark...perhaps a tiny post-photo contrast boost would brighten the picture some without losing color quality. Thanks for the shot data! I wish more people would post the same, so I could learn from you all!
