I shot this photo of the Mackinac Bridge (connecting Michigan's upper and lower peninsulas) around 8:30 PM, Sept 7, 2008. Since at that time it wasn't quite as dark as I wanted it to be (the winds coming off the straights were getting colder) I decided to use a polarizer and go with an ISO of 200 instead of the 800 I originally had set. Using a tripod and remote, I set it at a shutter speed of 10 sec, F/18 and a focal length of 95mm. It was taken with a Canon Digital Rebel XTI, a Canon EF 28-105mm f/3.5-4.5 II USM lens and a Tiffen circular polarizer.
