This waterfall photo was taken Sept 12, 2008 at Chutes Prov Park, Massey, Ontario. The word chutes is french for waterfall. It was taken with a Canon Digital Rebel XTI and a Tamron 17-35mm f/2.8-4 Di SP AF. Using a Hoya circular polarizer, I shot it at 1/80s (to get that somewhat milkier effect to the water), F/5.6, ISO 100 and a focal length of 19mm.

I too especially like the water flow, so many up-loaders get it wrong but you've got it spot on Shawn. :o)

Big brother's watching you :o) A mistreated dog should try to leave a deposit on their masters best carpet, after all it's important to establish who's boss ... Welcome to the last resort. :o)

Nice shot. I like the green of the woods (and especially the dots of red here and there) and I really like the various colors seen in the reflections of the water up above the waterfall.

On the other hand I'm not so crazy about the slightly blurred look of the water cascading over the edge down below. Of course, I realize this may not have been avoidable depending on the camera. Keep in mind too that this is just my opinion. Some people like crisp water, others like smooth (overly-blurred). Matter of taste, is all.

All in all a nice shot.
