Yes, I think this would have been a great shot if it was focused. Great perspective though.

Great compositional idea, but focus issues are a problem. Also, personally, I don't like a blast of brightness right in the center of a picture. Would love to see your subject with more clarity and less shadow.

Well, it was in focus, seeing as I didn't change any settings from any photos of that time there but as I said my camera is not a good one.

They are actually a Gryphons wings. It was a large carved, wooden statue at Glastonbury festival.
