Yes, it's quite dark. A great flame though. It looks good on my 19" LCD, but is almost gone on my laptop screen. Maybe brighten it up a bit and increase the contrast. But have no fear, I have a dark one that achieved a C-index of 14 LOL.
sorry its too dark for me! i cant make out what it is and thats just frustrating more than creepy!! for it to work for me you need to lighten it a little so i can make out the fractal hidden in the darkness.
"I never looked for it, gave it no name; yet I knew it always, when the gift of peace came. I stood quite still for the moment that it lasted...Then the light shifted slightly and the moment passed, leaving me...with the lasting echo of its presence.." Diana Gabaldon
A useful exercise! It's dark on mine too - the Mac, that is; not tried it on the PC. That's a thought; should be an interesting experiment. (Tries it on PC).
OK, I can see a misty smoke effect on the Mac, but on the PC it's just a few wriggly lines.
It goes wrong the other way too - yesterday I made something on the PC that looked nice and colourful, and on the Mac it looks washed out.
Such a intense and darkly moody fractal. I know you were tryin for that and you managed it very well. Reminds me of a dragon kind of too. Good Hallloween one Bonnie. sandi♥
"The more we come in contact with animals, and observe their behaviour, the more we love them, for we see how great is their care for their young." - philosopher Immanuel Kant
I'm in the dark faction I'm afraid Bonnie, I can't really make it out. Wish I could - death riding a dragon sounds great. Just checked my monitor settings and brightness is at 93 and raising it further hasn't helped. I salute you for staying true to your aims! You've certainly flushed out the differences in people's monitors!
