There was such a contrast from the lower portion and the top of this birch tree it caught my eye.
The top was gold in the sun.

I can see why the gold leaves caught your eye. A beautiful presentation.

Just lovely Bonnie. I like the window you put around it. It made it look even better! :)

Thought you'd been to the hairdresser's when I saw the title of this! Nice verticals, and I love silver birches - think we have a similar taste in trees Bonnie! The window is fun - like curtains! Or nets...makes me want to 'twitch' them.

A nice attempt, however, the framing kinda takes over with the light on light thang going. Perhaps a wee darker framing to accentuate the tree?? Would make a nice desktop wallpaper with a darker border me thinks.

Great lighting on the tree. I see what caught your eye. I like the execution of the frame. You've done a very clever job with it.

The sun on a silver birch... lovely and lovely presentation... I think I'm with Mr. Hottrockin though... a darker frame might bring out that golden sunshine more... although it does rather look like window curtains this way.

You will be led to the knowledge of the internal things which are invisible to you, by the external things which you see before you. . . . Even so then, we can represent to ourselves in thought the Author of all that is, by contemplating and admiring the (visible) things which He has made, and ever brings into being. - Hermes

Nice shot, but I kind of don't like the pale green framing, I think it detracts from the gold of the tree instead of enhancing it as it should.I think a very thin black line around it along with maybe a pale gold would have made it even more elegant. But I still like the tree...heheh..verena
