I was recently asked if I had any pictures of the old Railway bridge, down near the River not far from my home. The three brick arches as we call it.
Here you go...I donned my Wellies and tried to get down there yesterday, late afternoon to see how my little camera handled the light.

More to come, but this is the full bridge shot from yesterday.

Nicely done and such a beautiful old bridge. I like the light play on the water and seeing it through the arch. Very good Bonnie. Sandi♥

I think another time of day might be better for capturing the bridge itself. The overexposure at the top of the image distracts from the overall. You don't see this in your cropped version. A great bridge to shoot!

Lovely and serene, Bonnie. I love the golden light. Now I know what Wellies are too! lol

You will be led to the knowledge of the internal things which are invisible to you, by the external things which you see before you. . . . Even so then, we can represent to ourselves in thought the Author of all that is, by contemplating and admiring the (visible) things which He has made, and ever brings into being. - Hermes

Love the light on the river and how it has touched it and turned it to gold...well done!! The overexposure on the bridge itself is a shame, but perhaps it could be selected and corrected. I do like the rest of the view though :)

It is a very beautiful view, the bridge looks fantastic. The light is so beautiful, a bit overexposed in the upper part, but a very beautiful photo even though.

Thanks guys :)
I don't think the slight overexposure detracts at all and is minor..but I would like to learn how to correct some other shots. I'm not sure the best way of doing this?

By the way, this image is not cropped..it is a totally different shot than the full bridge one.

Thanks to all my friends for the wonderful images I get to look at and learn from on Caedes every day. I always have something to say about them, but don't always have the time to record it. Please forgive me if I can't comment on all of your uploads.

I like the arches on this bridge, and the reflections under the middle arch. Good photo.

The ethereal gold sunlight makes a lovely contrast with the grey stone bridge and the browns of the trees and dead grass... and I love the hint of a green path on the right.
