Another fire shot from the Mercian gathering camp last weekend.
This is the central Hearth fire, built and maintained all weekend by our Hearthmaster 'Troll'.
This fire is central to our celebrations and also a great place to keep warm and socialize on chilly evenings.

Very different idea and good shot. Only flames are visible. No surroundings, it's totally black as a background.
