We had an ice storm this morning, and while there are dozens of pictures I would love to submit for it, this is one that stands out. Keep an eye out for more in the next few days.

Can I ask what an ice storm is? (it doesn't usually snow in Sydeny - all we get are hailstones). Great shot too.

An ice storm is when it's cold enough to freeze, but the air in the atmosphere isn't cold enough to make snow, so what happens is rain falls, hits something then freezes into ice. That happens over a period of a day and you get this. everything covered with a protective ice shield.
