This marvelous shot gives a whole new meaning to the word serenity. Composition is perfect (as always), colors, lights/shadows, reflections are perfect (as always)...I am in awe of your talent, Si. :) (And yes, of course it's now in my Favorites...grin...where else?)

Very nice scenery Simon! Those reflections are deceiving...are there people standing on the right. Nice composition and shades of green:-)

Thank you all very much. It's a lovely place for walking, and the "hissing geese" are only little ducks really so you'd be quite safe, Shane ;-) And well spotted, Darryl - those reflections puzzled me a bit! I think there are people some way back behind the tree, but the way the ground slopes up beyond the pond makes the reflections appear as though they're right at the edge....

This photo gives me a whole new meaning to "picture perfect" because now I have seen it! Wonderful capture, great eye for a fantastic photo. This almost looks like a painting! The only thing wrong with it is that I am not sitting there having a picnic lunch!! 10/10 in my fav's!

I'm with Henry and the others too Simon. This is one lovely desktop of some beautiful landscaping. Again I like how the tree upfront is off to the right and how everything just falls into place behind it. ;)

Nice and clean. A pastoral setting. Not too much detail - not too little. Despite the ducks and their residue I'd love to spend some hours reflecting on the reflection. Ya did good!
