Canada geese coming in to land on the River Camel, north of Wadebridge. We counted 47 mute swans in a flock there yesterday, and estimated somewhere between 5 and 10 times as many Canada geese. If anything there were even more geese there today when this was taken.

Good capture Simon. :) I find it hard to take these kind of shots. It's usually only one chance to get it and one has to wait for quite some time to get it (if it's not a very attractive spot for the birds).

Thanks, Klas - fortunately this is a good spot for the birds (and also a good place for walking while keeping on eye on them) so I was able to take several shots as I was going along. This and "Flypast" were the best of the bunch :-)

Fabulous shot, Si! There's always a wonderful surprise when you set to random rather than by date. Glad I didn't miss this one. Always a pleasure viewing your gallery.
