Your DOF caught your lil' friends' eyes and wing ... so well, and as it should be. Really makes the image for me and ties in with your most ... most, apt title.

p.s. Was just reminded of something that had been on my mind ... looking at the resolution sizes available ... any thoughts about downsampling the data? Not sure how much of a difference it would make ... perhaps, something to consider in the future if you find a shot that might need (not this one) a boost in clarity or sharpness.
