Zach - Terrific capture. It is good fortune to be in the right spot for such a photo. Thus, while the dof is quite shallow, you have to shoot when the opportunity presents itself, came settings be darned. Thad

If I could tell the story in words, I wouldn't need to lug around a camera. ~Lewis Hine The Earth without art is just 'eh'.
I'm not sure if Thad's comment is for, or against the DOF of this image, but I think it actually helps to make the shot. And I like the way the crook of the branches frame the squirrel, like he's peeking out from an open window. Nice shot, truly.
