Ray, I'm starting to believe that you are the Caedes version of the master of light. Originally I thought your work was dark, moody and intense. Naturally I was certain the you were not so distantly related to the Grimm fairy tale family. But the last few postings have revealed another side to your work.

When I first looked at the image, I thought this was a sepia tone. Upon closer examination I spotted the guy in the red shirt crossing the bridge and realized that there were subtle colors throughout.

The Orton adds a wonderful effect to the entire shot and does help the blandness of the sky as noted very well in your narrative. The vignetting on three sides is a treatment that I've never seen but that works very well in your final image.

Your posting is a beauty. Faves for me and a nomination to the AC. Fabulous work. I'm very envious of your skills.

The vignetting effect was unintentional and should have been uniform throughout but there is a glitch in the program which produces this lop-sidedness to it. I'll be posting some more high-key shots in future as they seem to be being received well.
