Taken in Toulouse, France where all the town centre houses have these wonderfully ornate balcony railings. I have deliberately lightened this image and used Gradient Mapping to bring out this detailing. I could have straightened the image and cropped out the sky and now that I've said that, maybe that's what I should have done - never mind.

Ray, you worry way too much. We all seek perfection, but you know....you come pretty darn close. Your post photo skills are out of this world. I wish I could produce an image half this good. The presentation is intensely glorious. Even the arced building is a minimal distraction for this fantastic capture. The details are superlative. I'm usually an enemy of white skies, but this shot has charmed me to the point that maybe I sort of even like white skies. Back when there was a C-Index, I rarely awarded a 9 and never awarded a 10 because 10 is perfect. This beauty is a 9.494. Faved and nominated to the AC. Simply stupendous work. I wish more people could see your work. You gotta put yourself out there and get some Caedes friends. I hate to see beautiful photography stagnating in near isolation.

I may be schizophrenic, but at least I have each other.
