Nice work Ray the image is well suited to monochrome, and you've got the lighting just right.

I commented earlier, Ray, on "Willemstat #2" and said that I preferred your spooky looking, Gothic-like images. I hadn't seen this shot when I said that, but this is exactly what I was talking about. Earlier in our Caedes friendship I asked you how you do what you do. You sent me a PM using PhotoShopese and various other technical terminology that sounded very impressive. For all the good it did to enlighten me, you could have written it in Mayan or hieroglyphics. I do speak fluent Babylonian but technical camera-ologistic jargon might as well have been in whatever language they speak on the moons of Jupiter.

That being said (what was it that I just said!?), this is my idea of perfection and what drew me to your work in the first place. Your use of light really creates some terrific depth to your image. The monotone creates a mood that is signature Rayistic. I like the term "sinister" used above although I'd guess that you don't see your work as sinister. I'd call it dramatic and moody. Sometimes a picture is worth a thousand words. I could go on and use 10,000 words without aptly describing the stunning charm of this work. You could teach Rembrandt a thing or two about light.

If I could send cash I would, but Faves for me and an AC nomination are the best I can do on my present budget. I'll also throw in an "ataboy", two hips and one hurrah.

I may be schizophrenic, but at least I have each other.
