With the proper light the subject is shown in your photo correctly. Color saturation will be accurate, your white balance will work well, you may not have to modify the camera settings as well. In addition you will have to do less post work of your shots. The only modifications this photo has are boosted shadows and a brightness tweak(my aperture was a bit too open) I am privileged to have an excess of indirect sunlight coming into our bedroom where we set up a small studio. On a bright day I can take pictures at a shutter of >1/100, no flash and no extra lights. This one: f/6.3, 1/100, 0ev, ISO 400, 53mm enjoy!

The look of a statesman. Look out dad, you've got some busy days ahead. Great candid, John.

You did very well and are fortunate to have such good natural lighting in your makeshift studio :) Got a little blur on the left side of the basket but you still got quite the professional looking results :) I like the set up too, cute idea with the basket! Nicely done...

Oh what a precious capture! Your model is quite enchanting and poses beautifully. Quite professional appearing, and the basket is a wonderful addition. Congradulations John, on a top notch job :^>

I need to catch up on things so can't comment too much. But I love all of your fine images :)
