Lake McDonald in Glacier National Park. It is about 10 miles long and almost 500 feet deep. The glacier that carved it and the valley is scientifically estimated to have been ~2,200 feet thick. These deep, cold mountain lakes also have a very distinctive aqua-marine blue color.

Simply beautiful... I would like a landscape view too, if you have one.

Hey John,
With that title I was expecting to see a lake of oil with fries floating in it. This is MUCH nicer. :))
