The 2+ mile hike to this beautiful mountain lake is well worth the time and effort. Here is the Western looking view of the valley you walk into it from. The colored specs are the people taking pictures on the other side of the lake. This is one of the many (700 miles worth) trails you can explore in Glacier Park. The aqua-marine color is also a distinctive hue of mountain-glacial lakes in the park.

Gorgeous view of the lake with the mountains in the background. The driftwood in the foreground gives the image a nice perspective. Fantastic shot John. I would love to see Glacier Park someday.

Great Shot. Glacier is by far my favorite National Park with so many photo opportunities. I notice that you also captured a chipmunk sitting on the driftwood just left of bottom center.
