Here is the end of the Mission Range in northwest Montana. Te view is looking north. About 40 miles further is Glacier National Park. We did not get the opportunity to record it, but from the right place here you will see what must have inspired the line "...purple mountain majesty..." The sunset will give the hills a deep violet color and it beautifully contrasts with the multicolored sky. Note the raptor perched on the tree to the left. This was taken by my talented wife, with our 50mm lens. (Seriously, if you don't have it, get it)

The Mission Range..It just has a nice ring to it, and you have kept that alive with this very good photograph. Like this scene and post a lot. Beautiful soft yet vibrant colours. Like the delineation in the mountains. A keen eyed capture to be sure. Well done.

The majestic mountain against the calm colours of the sky is inspiring. What a wonderful place, this is a great shot!

He who dwells in the shelter of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the almighty. I will say of the Lord, "He is my refuge and my fortress, my God in whom i trust". Psalm 91: 1 and 2

Almost looks like a quality wash. Beautifully done, John.

Ask your Congressmen and Senators why our existing wells aren't pumping more than 3 days a month? There a lot of unused capacity in existing wells.
