I'm Not a big fan of flower images, But this one is really good

The water drops on the lily, angle and wide open focus are very effective. I like the dark blended background but I'm not sure about the circular pattern behind the flower. It may well be my computer screen because it sometimes views blends as bands of gradation so forgive me if I'm not seeing this correctly. This is a very interesting composition and artisic impression. anne :-)

Why do the pictures come out square when the lens is round??
I need to correct my evaluation of this image. I learned that my laptop monitor had been set to the wrong resolution. I corrected it and don't see any bands anymore. Nice work John! anne :-)

There are tons of websites for uploading snapshots - photos of your neice, back yard, etc. "Caedes Man" did not start this website for that purpose. His intent was to offer a venue for folks to share artistic images that could be used as desktop backgrounds. Does anyone really want an out of focus shot of a dog for a desktop background? probably not. Let's share the good stuff and help others by telling them what's good or how to improve an image. We could all make Caedes a great site for everyone and use those other places for the snapshot sharing. A first rate family snap sharing website is www.easysite.com.
