Found this fine creature walking in our area and could not resist taking a few pics before I released him.Not sure on the gallery but this one was the closest. Enjoy!!!
Ewwwww...... Thats a great shot of a massive spider..... you can see all the hair on it when you look at it full view... your very brave getting that close to take it... lol
I canNOT handle this so I guess that means you did a pretty good job with this shot and I'll vote on that. ;0 Running now.........<<<<<<---------------------that way!
I have a great fear of spiders after looking at this image. YUCKY!!! Hope you had a high powered zoom on the camera & that you were not very close to this...this...creature! UGH!!!
Good capture though. Glad it was you & not me!!!!! lol Thanks for posting it (I think :))
Had a bad experience with these guys once in Oklahoma where they covered the road in the night. Wouldn't even open the car door when we got home for fear of some still clinging to the underside of the car. Thanks for bringing that back (I think)
What a brilliant shot! He was walking around your neighbourhood??? I wouldnt have stopped to take a picture, I would have been running in the opposite direction screaming like a mad woman lolol. I am not scared of spiders, but this one would have had me rethinking that. Great picture though.
wow.. you found this girl roaming free?!? she looks to be of the Haplopelma genus.. possibly Longipes as species.. if you have them running wild there, i would love to come on a collecting visit :] seeing as i collect tarantulas.. have a look at the similarities between her and the Haplopelma Lividum i have in my gallery..
