Was just messing around in photoshop and Apophysis. Read some tutorials and came up with this, my first attempt at an abstract wallpaper. Any opinions or criticism is more than welcome.

this is very good for only apophysis and photoshop.. you did a nice job on the planet. all i can really say is to maybe make the fire around the planet a bit more detailed.. an perhaps make it look like the fire is actually coming from the planet and not behind it. great job though, i do like it a lot as it is.

Very good for a first attempt but I agree about making the fire come from the planet considering it is a fiery planet but apart from that it's great

For a first go, success!
You wouldn't necessarily have to make the fire as though it were coming from the planet in order to improve. It looks nice as a backdrop to the sphere. Maybe just fiddle with the colouring to make the planet pop.
