Same tiger, new pose... I like the misty quality of this one.

This is a wonderful shot that could use a bit of photoshop. It lacks contrast and saturation. That can be fixed by using the "Auto levels" command. But I'd first switch it to a 16 bit/color image and then use the levels adjustment to get it the way you like. Then switch back to 8 bits. You get a smoother histogram that way. I've fooled with it and it comes up very nicely. but then you can see that you had a dirty lens. The manipulation leaves a bit of the misty quality in the bg.

My guess is, you shot this through glass? There appear to be some smudges and reflections. It's still an interesting picture, but not as clear and sharp as your other one. Peter is right -- you'd be surprised at how much an image editor can do with the photo. If you don't have a high-end program like Photoshop, try the one I use, which is free and easy to learn. It's called XnView (just google it). I tried its "Map - Automatic Levels" on this photo and the difference is remarkable.

You've gotten good advice from knowledgeable people, but I just wanted to let you know that when all the smoke clears and you can see what you've got, I think you're going to see a really great composition. :)
