This beautiful scene can be found to the left of the entrance to Hershey Gardens in Hershey, PA. Definitely a place that any flower lover should visit!
This is a very pretty picture with lots of different textures and colors, but your camera couldn't quite handle the bright sunlight. (Shooting with a reduced exposure setting would have helped.) The good news is that you can use image editing software to reduce the brightness and contrast, and this will not only darken the image but also enrich all the colors. This is a nice picture that deserves a little work.
I love it when gj goes ahead of me. He gets to be the "heavy" and I get to be the "good" guy...j/k j/k j/k...he's given you some very good advice, and I agree with all that he's said. Also software doesn't have to be expensive and if you're not familiar with what's out there, there's some listed on this site on the FAQs page. I love your composition. The angle of the flowers with the deep greens behind it are very nicely seen :)
"The artist is a receptacle for emotions that come from all over the place; from the sky, from the earth, from a scrap of paper, from a passing shape, from a spider’s web." Pablo Picasso
I'm a flower lover, but the Hershey gardens are 'somewhat' too far for me to visit (lol), so I have to do it with your beautiful image! Thanks for sharing. Cornelius
