Almost looks like someone cut the bangs on this horse. He looked right at me and dared me to take this photo. I told him it wouldn't hurt one bit, so he said OK. What do you think?
Awww....He's smiling at you Carol! And yes he got his bangs cut right along with his mane. I did those crazy things to my horse too!...lol...Great capture!

I like this post better than the other, Carol. Lighting is right on. Looks like you got up the nerve to get a little closer. He is a beautiful horse. Thanx for sharing.
Oh, what a lovely shot! This guy looks really sweet.
About that mane. This is the traditional way to cut Fjord's mane. Their hairs are very coarse and thick so they stick up when cut short. That emphasizes their muscular neck and makes it look even thicker. And it also nicely presents their black-and-white hairs in the mane.
Always remember - Follow the Yellow Brick Road, it will lead you to OZ and the Emerald City. A very nice place to live. Trust me on this one, I live there. The Lion **** MY CAEDES GALLERY****Another Site I'm AT - MY DA HOME PAGE
I think he's wondering where the carrot is! This fellow is the kind of horse I like...interested in people and not afraid. Interesting colors in his forelock and his mane appears to be roached... which makes me wonder if he is a roping horse. Nice pic!
