I saw two young kids I thought, by this pond fishing, so I stopped to get a photo. As I focused in they turned around with their backs to me. I didn't realize they were a young couple, they were so small I thought they just little kids. I guess I interrupted their special moment. I felt bad all the way home.

I think the Amish probably begin forming relationships at an early age. They don't have a large population to choose from, so getting a commitment early would be a logical thing to do. Sweet picture.

I like Sharon's explanation. It is a cute shot never the less. Don't feel bad. They did what they are instructed to do.

Nice shot of a touching scene Carol. I think they even go to other Amish communities recruiting mates for their children. It is a hard life and takes a special person to commit to it. I think you captured one of the great moments.

I love you shot and they do look so young, you can tell that there is a really bond between the two. This is a great capture and I'm going to add it to my favorites.

They look like kids to me, too. What an excellent capture. If you hadn't explained that they turned away from you and the camera, I would have thought that the girl was just showing the boy something she had found..or something like that.

Well Carol, they probably turned away from you because some don't want their pictures taken at all, so they always turn away.

Still really love this capture and presentation of these cute kids
