Found this little building out in the countryside. Don't know what the building is or was, the only thing good about it was this door.

Well I like the stone of the building too!...lol...I suspect it was a church or school. Cool shot Carol!

Its a pretty old place with those old ceramic door knobs and those tall and slender doors. Its a very nice image! Love the old stone and the color of the building.

Last night I lay in bed looking up at the stars in the sky and I thought to myself, where the heck is the ceiling.

Looks like an old school, or library or something. Very nice, Carol.

A good capture of these old doors, Carol. I like the pale blue colour. Wonderful old field stone walls and textures. Really good work.

Think about the photo before and after, never during. The secret is to take your time. You mustn't go too fast. The subject must forget about you. Then, however, you must be very quick. Henri Cartier-Bresson

I'm terrible at guessing what old buildings were used for Carol. So, I won't even hazard a guess here.
But I really love the soft dreamy feel, and the details on the door and stonework are a joy to behold.

Carol - The photo has a lonely tone with the expanse of stone wall and the double doors. Well done! Thad
