This must have been a barn for horses, but I didn't see any of those animals around. Anyway it has been kept up really well.

Wow! You got that right! What a well up kept old barn. It sure looks good out there in that field with the sun all over it! Great shot!

Last night I lay in bed looking up at the stars in the sky and I thought to myself, where the heck is the ceiling.

Have to agree with you on the state of the barn. Nicely preserved construction. A good presentation of the barn, Carol. Wonderful lighting and colours in the scene.

Think about the photo before and after, never during. The secret is to take your time. You mustn't go too fast. The subject must forget about you. Then, however, you must be very quick. Henri Cartier-Bresson

Love these barns, so different from the ones here in Italy.
As style I prefer the above one.
Beautiful picture as well.

Carol - I like this shot a lot. The well cared for large barn complex with the stone foundation and freshly painted batten board exterior, cedar shingle roof, set on the hillside makes a wonderful scene. I like the composition of this shot with the board rail fence in the foreground. Great horizontal lines throughout the scene. Thad

A pleasure to see. This barn would contain several of my house. The bright red is an attention getter and your perspective, which includes the fence, is quite good.
