I tried to salvage this shot with the help of a Caedes friend,this is the best we could come up with. I made one mistake after another with this, the biggest one was that I didn't make a copy to work with and got the color all wrong and couldn't get it back to the original. I hated to throw the image away. Soooooo!

It is a pretty shot, Carol. I think you did very well with the post processing. That looks like a pony peeking from around that wonderfully snow laden pine tree. I usually just save my finished image with a different name and that leaves the original image as it was.

Last night I lay in bed looking up at the stars in the sky and I thought to myself, where the heck is the ceiling.
A wonderful shot, Carol, and admirable post-work. The horse peeking out from behind the snow-covered pine is precious. I like the colors and the artistic treatment you've applied to the photo. And I think the ragged edges you've used for framing work very well. Nice job!
