I thought this quite a unique barn with all these patterns on it. I probably could have cloned out the wires and pole but decided to leave it like it was. All the patterns were on boards about 6 foot square. I usually passed this barn from the other side so never noticed this until today when I took the same route back home. Then I got this surprise.

Fantastic, Carol, and I bet each of those squares has a name for it in quilting. Such simple yet very appealing squares. I bet a woman had something to do with it. Maybe she drew them out on wood and painted them and had her husband attach them to the barn. Makes a wonderful conversation image and it's so well captured for showing too.

That's a very handsome barn. I like the way they have decorated it with the quilt like thingys. Very nice.

Very beautiful looking shot,with great colours detail and sharpness.Plus love the light in this photography.As for the wire and the phone poll,it makes the picture real.I don't no why we do that remove items from a picture.If it was unsightly well yes but the pole and wires are part of the scene.Love how you captured all the colours and detail in the patterns along the building.

I'll have to admit, Carol, that I've never seen anything that looks even remotely like this barn. I can see why you didn't try to clone out the power lines and power pole. Lots of work to do to clean up a shot that doesn't really need it since the eye is drawn to the windows. It certainly looks cold there. That's a winter sky if I ever saw one.
