I found out that this is an old school. Also the upper windows let us know that the teacher roomed up there during the school year. This is the same shot without the framework.
It seems more close up too! And the story makes sense now. Of course the teacher would live there cause it usually was very far to travel to a school. My mom had to do that too when she taught in the olden days...hehe...Thanks for a great shot and thanks for filling us in Carol!
Carol, this version (at least to me) is far superior to yesterday's posting. We all have our preferences, and I noticed that most folks preferred the border on yesterday's posting. I tend to agree with the comments above. This shot feels larger and closer. B+. :-)
An interesting capture of the old school house Carol. A much better presentation. I like the falling snow in the photo and the view through the barren trees.
For the invisible things of Him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, His eternal power and Godhead;... Rom 1:20
Now the mystery is solved and we can see the building in greater detail. I remember these one room school houses. The kids sure learned a lot when they went to school together. I like the snow falling all around.
I love this one but the first had more feel to it, but still very nice photo.I do like how you captured the trees at the front,it like the building is trying to hiding from you. That blue is a stunning colour.
Another wonderful capture of this old school house and very interesting to know the teacher lived in the tower. At least she didn't have to go far to get to work, lol
