Smile, without a reason why. Love, as if you were a child, Smile, no matter what they tell you Don't listen to a word they say Cause life is beautiful that way. (From the film "Life Is Beautiful")
An intriguing and fine capture Carol. As European, I don't know that much about the life of the Amish, but think still to know that they won't accept the 'convenience' of the modern world. If so, your capture reflects a part of their lifestyle. Perfectly done!

A very nice shot of this Amish buggy. In 1992 when visiting the Eastern part of the United States I also met Amish people and had talks with them. They talked to me in "Pensylvania- German" which was easily to understand for me. I was always admiring them because they are able to renounce the conveniences of our times and live a pious life.
That is a great looking shot of the Amish buggy and passengers. In the Amish country here in Ohio, it is so hilly that you really have to keep a lookout for the buggies since they come up so quickly on the roads.
My thanks to all who leave comments for my work and to those of you who like one enough to make it a favourite. To touch just one person that way makes each image worthwhile. . . . . . . . . .. . . . "The question is not what you look at, but what you see" ~ Marcel Proust
The reason why the sun sets in the evening is because it wants to see the sunrise in the morning. I rise in the morning because I want to see them both. RvdB
