I grew up in Peoria and remember the endless fields of corn. I love all of the green in the shot as well as the cooperative sky.
I'm wondering what that stuff is in the clouds at the top of the shot. I downloaded your image and zoomed in. Looks like finger prints or rain drops. Let's see. I think the shot needs a half smidgen of positive gamma to brighten things up a bit. Also I rarely split the shot with the horizon. Also I noticed some noise around the trees. I took the liberty of editing your shot to keep me busy and make me happy because I'm a selfish dork. The edited version looks like this.
