Taken after a storm we had last night, with a touch of paint effect. Used my cellphone from the car as we toured the damage around the area. Not to much damage which I am thankful for.

The storm has cleared the air and you have got a fine shot here with that beautiful sky and a nice looking landscape.

Ohh.. nice. :o)

Good good composition.

The placement of the weeping willow within frame underscores this facet and really strengthens your image.

Like the colour of the sky and that of the grasses, too.

And the subtle paint effect was a judicious creative choice and is well-balanced, not taking.. really.. that much away from the realism.

If I may..

The only suggestion that I would make.. would be to open the shadows up a bit.

Something like.. this.

You could accomplish this by searching for a Brightness/Contrast option for your image editor.

In Photoshop, it would be Shadows/Highlights.

... ...

Some future food for thought (for your camera.. not sure if phones have this), and I can't recall if I have ever made mention of the following. So.. my apologies if I am repeating myself and causing more wear and tear on your eyes.

"How to Use Exposure Compensation to Take Control of Your Exposure"

That said..

This one caught my eye and brought me in for a closer look. Was not disappointed. :o)

And..

But, of course.. thank you for sharing this one with us, Carol.

+favs for me.

That sure is one dramatic sky! I agree with Les about the shadows.
I'm glad there was not much damage. tigs=^..^=
