It looks like the barn is going to catch the tree before long Carol. I bet the barn is a pigeon haven with those two cupolo's. Good find and well shot/edited.
My thanks to all who leave comments for my work and to those of you who like one enough to make it a favourite. To touch just one person that way makes each image worthwhile. . . . . . . . . .. . . . "The question is not what you look at, but what you see" ~ Marcel Proust
It looks like the moment before the tornado sweeps in. A very dramatic edit job Carol. Having encountered a few tornadoes they whip up dirt and debris making everything look dusky. The tree having that lean makes it look like it's being sucked in.
I am struck by that gothic window in the barn loft. Very unusual!
This reminds me of images of the "Great Dust Bowl". (Let us hope that we never see THAT ever again in reality!)
However, in art, it's lovely! I like the buttery yellows and blushing browns that you used to wash across the photograph. It gives it a feeling of age, yet also adds warmth.
The reason why the sun sets in the evening is because it wants to see the sunrise in the morning. I rise in the morning because I want to see them both. RvdB
