Maintenance wouldn't help it anymore, Carol. Good that you've captured it and has edited it in a optimal way. The result is an artwork that - in contrary with the barn- lasts forever. Excellent job again!

My thanks to all who leave comments for my work and to those of you who like one enough to make it a favourite. To touch just one person that way makes each image worthwhile. . . . . . . . . .. . . . "The question is not what you look at, but what you see" ~ Marcel Proust
The What Happened is the deteriorated portion of the barn gives it great character value - your paint and pencil work resulted in a fine image - Excellent Work Carol!!!!!!!!!
And as always.. got my pea brain in gear here. Wondering what the difference in the end results would be if you were to eliminate the vignetting in the upper portion.. leaving the concentric circles in the sky portion?
My reasoning..
Everything is pretty much in balance, with respect to the visual weights of the elements; barn, foreground, vignetting. Eliminating the vignetting, or, dialing in back some might bring the barn more to the forefront.
I think.
Just some food for thought, and.. thanks for sharing your creativity with us.
Excellent job again!
